  • What is the correct way to thank a God/Godess for answering a request for help?

    • Dear Jack, I’m not sure how I missed your comment, but wanted to respond for In-the-Future. There is no “correct” way. It really depends on the deity. One way to approach it is through the mythology and see if there was a traditional offering to be left for the deity of choice. Another thing to do would be to “pay it forward” and volunteer to do active service work in an area overseen by that deity (for example, if you asked Athena for mental clarity or assistance for something important, you might volunteer to be a tutor or help someone else learn something they are struggling with).

To me, the important thing about saying “thank you” and making offerings is that you have to give something of yourself and something that is worth something to you. That’s one reason that your TIME is such a great offering. It’s the one thing you can choose to spend in a constructive way that you can never give to something else — once you spend an hour tutoring someone, you can never get that hour back. It is truly given.

Your state of heart and willingness to say thank you is the most important part of the offering. Believe me, when you mean it, it shows and you can feel the energy shift as your gift of time, your creation, or your special effort is accepted.

  • hello sitara haye,
once again i find i need your assistance. its about my cat sugar, she has left through an open window and it has been 24 hrs plus since i have seen her last , needless to say. i have been searching for her. and i am truly suffering at this point. i look for her day and night in hopes that i will catch her at the right moment. i live in pa, very dangerous for a domesticated kitty. so i ask for an idea on how to get her back. or for her protection till she finds her way home. basically i want to call her to me. im just so hurt right now, i dont know what to do.– kat
